Written by Ron Crowe
Thursday, 18 March 2010 00:38

We hope everyone enjoyed the 11th Annual Celtic Grove LIVE Saint Patrick's Day broadcast as much as we did, and found your way home safely!  As always, we thank everyone for their participation, particularly the tremendous  response of our listening audience!

Now, as our live show host once again takes up his annual vow of silence (no applause), we hope both our new and long-time listeners continue to enjoy Celtic Grove and spread word of our site!

Hot off the Young Dubliners email newsletter:

"This is it folks. The big day has arrived for 2010. As usual our schedule is totally nuts. Its only once a year, what can ya do. We start the day at the KTLA morning news (Channel 5 in Los Angeles and will basically be the house band for the whole show. Then its off to the House of Blues for a soundcheck.

Now it gets very "rock starish". Next we go to our private jet and fly to San Diego for a full set at the Shamrocker Festival. We start at 6.45pm. Right after that we once again board the Jet and zip back to Los Angeles for the House Of Blues show. All of those waiting for us in LA will be well entertained with the great opening acts.

As for the rest of you wonderful fans around the country and the world. Please crank out your Dub CD's and party with us in spirit. You might even be able to see us on Channel 5 KTLA on their website. If not, then close your eyes and imagine a dreamy pint in your hands and loads of sweaty folks jumping all around you. Maybe throw some beer all over a good shirt just to create the right vibe. Then blast The Irish Sessions from your favorite music player and you'll be right there with us.

HAPPY PADDYS DAY EVERYONE. MOST IMPORTANTLY, PARTY SAFE AND DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE OR ALLOW ANYONE ELSE TO. HAVE FUN AND WE'L SEE YOU SOON.

Bye for now ~ The Dubs"

Needless to say, we at Celtic Grove join the Dubs in wishing you a happy and responsible Saint Patrick's Day ~ join us in celebrating ~ LISTEN TO CELTIC GROVE NOW! Don't understand why the server insists that this was posted a day late, but that's technology for you :)
